What’s LayerZero

LayerZero Protocol is the link connecting different blockchains. Currently, there are inconvenient ways to transfer tokens from one network to another. Bridges are used in these cases, but they are sometimes unreliable. In this case, you need to make 2–3 transactions and pay a commission for each transaction. LayerZero solves this global problem.

The project has a Total investment: of $135 million.

Test Network Testing Process

Step 1 — Go to the website and connect your wallet at https://usdcdemo.layerzero.network/bridge

Step 2 — We will obtain test tokens through the faucet: USDC Faucet: usdcfaucet.com — tokens for exchange.

Choose either the ETH or AVAX network.

Step 3 — Perform multiple USDC token exchanges.

Add the Goerli Testnet network and complete the interaction.

Main Network Interaction Process

Stargate is the main project for the bridge of the LayerZero protocol. Stargate has its own STG token, which can be used to participate in voting.

Cost:

Exchanging tokens (decided by you, at least $10 or more).

Exchange gas (approx. $10 on the Ethereum network, approx. $2 on other networks)

Gas prices for placing in the Pool and Farming are $0.05-$0.5

Role cost of $39 (100 STG role) and Farming revenue of $1000 (1K LP role)

Go to Stargate. finance and connect your MetaMask wallet.

Exchange tokens in different networks

In the ‘Transfer’ tab, perform the exchange. When selecting the network, remember that the payment of gas is done with different tokens.

For example, to exchange on the Avalanche network, you will need AVAX tokens, on the Matic network, you will need MATIC tokens, and on the Arbitrum network, you will need ETH tokens within the same network.

Tip! If you don’t have tokens to pay for gas in some networks, use the Bungee service. With it, you will be able to exchange a small amount of tokens for gas without paying extra fees for inter-network transactions.

The Transfer Gas Estimator will also help you save on gas — a table showing the average estimated transfer gas fees between networks. Choose your networks wisely!

Adding liquidity to the pool

Go to the ‘pool’ tab and add liquidity to the pool you like.
