3.1 Market Background:
On September 21st, the Federal Reserve maintained the federal funds rate target at a range of 5.25% to 5.50%, in line with market expectations. The FOMC statement indicated that 12 officials expected one more rate hike this year, while 7 officials anticipated no change. The Fed’s dot plot suggested that the first rate cut would be delayed until September of next year. Currently, the market lacks substantial positive news to support BTC prices moving higher. BTC 4-hour chart, as follows:
3.2 Trade Analysis:
On the 4-hour chart of BTC, the MACD bearish energy columns continue to increase without clear signs of a bottoming trend, suggesting a continuation of the downtrend. The immediate support level for BTC is around $26,400. Regarding LTC, the strategy was to buy around $63.5, as the 4-hour MACD had a golden cross and had already seen an uptick. The position was bought at a good level during the retracement, and then sold at market price near the resistance level of $65 to secure profits. See below:
