3.1 Market Background
On November 22nd, the Federal Reserve released the minutes of its November monetary policy meeting. The minutes revealed that if progress in reducing inflation proves insufficient, the Federal Reserve will further tighten monetary policy. All FOMC members agreed to “proceed cautiously” on the issue of interest rates, with consensus that rates would remain restrictive for some time. Participants unanimously concurred that policy decisions at each meeting would continue to be based on a “comprehensive consideration of all information,” maintaining a tightening stance to further achieve inflation targets while allowing sufficient time to gather more information.
3.2 Trade Analysis
From November 22nd to November 27th, on the 1-hour chart of APE, the price consolidated in the range of $1.3 to $1.55， and rose rapidly after breaking through $1.55, as follows:
Since November, with the rise of mainstream cryptocurrencies, APE experienced a rapid increase to around $1.4. Subsequently, the price began to consolidate, reaching a low of $1.20. For most of the time, the price fluctuated between $1.3 and $1.55. When the price dropped again to $1.30, the bears were unable to further suppress the price, leading to a rebound. Around the $1.40 mark, near the middle Bollinger Bands, a long position was opened. The price then gradually rose. The $1.7 level above acted as a significant resistance, and when APE approached this level, the upward momentum weakened, prompting a closure of the position.
